Mission

Our mission is simple: to make the parts of a career that usually stay hidden visible early enough to actually be useful.

Most of what you learn about work, you learn too late — after the degree, after the first job, after the decision has already been made for you. We’re four students who got tired of guessing, so we stopped guessing and started asking.

Every week we sit down with someone a few chapters ahead of us for one honest, unfiltered conversation about how they really got there. Not the polished version — the wrong turns, the lucky breaks, what the job is actually like once you’re in it, and the advice they’d give someone standing at the very start. Then we write it down and hand it over, free, to anyone who wants it.

What we’re building is the shortcut we wish we’d had: a growing library of first-hand career knowledge that a student can read before they need it, instead of years after. If one conversation saves one reader a wasted year, a wrong turn, or a bit of unnecessary doubt, it was worth noting.

We’re still figuring it out ourselves. We just do it in the open, and we’d love for you to follow along.
